It is an artificial lake, created in the 1960s to power the electricity station of Capriati al Volturno.
Inserted in a beautiful wide valley, with green hills behind, the lake is the ideal destination of whoever likes canoeing, fishing or practicing other outdoor sports in the middle of nature and in full tranquillity. In the lake basin there are different fish species: trouts, eels, carp, pike and smallmouth bass.
