The Sabato river (50 km) starts from the Colle Finestra on the Monte Terminio and flows for in Irpinia for most of its stream,
before marking for a long tract the border between the provinces of Avellino and Benevento. After a distance of nearly 15 kilometers in the Samnium, it joins the Calore in the vicinity of Benevento, in Pantano.
