Mingardo Beach
Surrounded to the north by a pine forest and to the south by sand dunes, the long beach of the Mingardo is located between Palinuro and Marina di Camerota and is much loved by people from Cilento. To distinguish it is the fine white sand, which meets a cobalt blue sea between the foam. A unique show set up by Mother Nature.
Cala d’Arconte
Maritime pines and centuries-old olive trees form the green scenography to Cala d’Arconte beach with its fine golden sand. The walk connecting three other beaches starts here: Fenosa, Capo Grosso and Calanca, close to the town with white sand and sandy sloping seabed preferred by families.
Spiaggia di Lentiscelle
Not far from the town, Lentiscelle is a large golden sandy beach mixed with pebbles. It overlooks a dream sea, exceptionally with a high seabed which makes it not really suitable for families with children. The succession of grottoes in the in the rocks has increased the charm of the place: from the wonderful Grotta della Serratuea, to Grotta del Pesce, from Grotta dell’Autaro to Grotta del Poggio, to Grotta della Cala or of the prehistoric man. Beautiful panoramas accompany the walk to Torre della Zancale, between the Marine Area of Costa degli Infreschi and the hamlet of Marina di Camerota.
Cala del Pozzallo
Still wild, thanks the flourishing vegetation surrounding it, you can get to Marina di Camerota by a dirt road or by sea. Very popular, Cala del Pozzillo offers a beach of white pebbles and is surrounded by dark rocks which plunge into the sea.
Cala Bianca
An ancient path, on which you come across old ruins where clay was dried and cooked, leads to Cala Bianca, also reachable by sea. In 2014, it got the coveted recognition of “Italys’s most beautiful beach”, conquered thanks to the thick presence of mediterranean scrub, which is the background of the sandy beach mixed to white pebbles enhancing the blue of the sea on the seabed.
Iscolelli
In the Costa degli Infreschi, Masseta Marine Protected Area, there are some natural pools in white stone, protected from the open sea. Due to its characteristics and plant and animal species there, it is a sanctuary subjected to maximum protection.
Infreschi Oasis Bay
Located between Paestum and Velia, the municipality of Castellabate is one of the most important seaside resorts of the Cilento Coast, as well as of considerable historical and cultural interest in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park.
At the foot of the medieval hamlet of Castellabate, which belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage, in an enchanted gulf between Punta Licosa and Punta Tresino, you can admire long golden beaches alternating with cliffs. There, you can see the Infreschi bay, an enchanting cove surrounded by fragrant juniper and mastic scents of the Mediterranean scrub, protected by the Cilento sharp rocks, between Cala Bianca of Marina di Camerota and the Gulf of Policastro. Springs of freshwater and shelter from the storms made it a safe haven for the ancient sailing ships; white bottoms and crystal-clear waters make it nowadays a coveted destination for admirers of marine beauties and beaches only reachable by sea.
